Site Engineer

About the role:

We have a great opportunity for junior civil graduates who is keen to gain comprehensive construction experience with us. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include assisting senior engineers, conducting site inspections, maintaining documentation, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and supporting various construction-related tasks.

The key activities for this role include:

  • You will work closely with the architecture team and the project manager participating in Drawing Management and Project Management.

  • You will assist to conduct Quality Management.

  • You will follow the procedure to conduct Site Establishment.

  • You will manage site Materials / Tools to ensure they get delivered on time and stored properly.

  • You will manage Site Documents such as ITPs, visitor forms, etc.

  • You will assist for organizing, monitoring, and reviewing works for Subcontractors.

  • You will manage to record the Site's Diary in the project management system.

  • You will participate in some major & minor site activities such as driving forklift, paint touch up, etc.

  • You will support the siteworks meet the WHS requirements and environmental safety.

If you have additional qualifications listed below, that would be a bonus:

  • Familiarity with Procore.

Site Foreman / Supervisor

About the role:

We have openings for experienced Site Foremen to join our Sydney team. In this role, you will supervise construction projects, ensuring quality and timely completion from site establishment to project conclusion.

 

There are key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting out works as per plans and details according to a construction program.

  • Supervising and coordinating activities with trades according to safety and quality requirements.

  • Providing practical solutions to daily on-site challenges and obstacles.

  • Interpreting plans and drawings to stakeholders.

  • Overseeing materials, machinery, and equipment management.

  • Managing on-site OH&S and conducting inductions and toolbox meetings.

  • Preparing and issuing RFIs (Request for Information).

  • Handling major or minor practical site activities.

 

Who you are?

The fundamental requirements for this role are:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Civil Construction, Construction Management, or Project Management. 

  • 2+years experience in residential building construction in Australia

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in running sites from the ground up with a key understanding of systematic processes

  • Understanding of health and safety and the intelligence to transfer this to site awareness

  • A driver’s license.

  • WHS white card.

 

If you have additional qualifications listed below, that would be a bonus:

  • trade or workman experience in construction

  • Familiarity with Procore.

Contract Administrator

About the role:


We have a great opportunity for a Contract Administrator to join our team in Sydney. In this role, your main responsibilities will involve administering contract progress, managing, monitoring, and reporting on the project budgets of construction projects.


A Contract Administrator will also focus on key activities, which include:

  • Effectively handling, overseeing, and providing updates on project budgets.

  • Generating and revising purchase orders for expenses using Procore.

  • Being in charge of guiding incoming invoices through the approval process until payment is made.

  • Managing contract progress claims, ensuring timely payments to subcontractors, and handling variations as part of your role.

  • Providing essential support in tasks such as tender preparation, tender solicitation, tender evaluation, and negotiations.

  • Taking responsibility for evaluating progress claims and making payments to subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Crafting subcontract agreements and defining scopes of work.

  • 2+ years of experience.

  • Having a knack for enhancing system and procedural efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Holding tertiary qualifications in Construction Management and Civil Engineering.
